Higher res or lower res with AA

I have an AMD 3000XP Pro1024 mb RAM128mb AGP GF6600gtWhat would be better performance!. Higher Res with No AA (1280 x 1024)2. Lower Res with AA (1024 x768)

Your system is very similar to mine:Athlon 3000XP+Abit AN7 motherboard1.5gb PC3200 DDR (Dual channel mode)BFG 6600GTI run FS9 at 1280 x 1024 with 2xQ AA, so that clouds don't impact on the AA, although in clear skies, I can run happily at 4xAA.I also leave Aniso set to 8x.This is using the 66.93 drivers.Hope this info helps :)
