using only portions of a SID/STAR in FS Build

Featured Replies

Already posetd yesterday on FS Build Forum, but no answer. Can anyone tell me how to use only a small portion of a SID/STAR. I can't seem to figure it out. I dont want to fly an entire STAR if it's origin is 100 miles away and I have a transition to the STAR only a few mere miles away. Why would I want to fly the entire STAR if the transition is right in front of me? The problem is that every time I try to delete one of the points on the STAR, the WHOLE STAR disappears (as it says it should in the manual). How can I keep "some" of the STAR (or SID) and then export the route to the PMDG 737 so it will still recognize I am trying to fly the STAR? Thanks, Chris Catalano

Chris,You can delete the unnecesary waypoints from the route waypoint table, and then select "Build from Route waypoint Table/Grid" from the "Build Options" menu. I'm sure others will respond to the FSBuild forum. Give it a couple of days. Have fun,Dave Vega
