Carenado B58 RXP GTN750 integration?

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, I know this is a super long shot but I was wondering if someone had/knew of a configuration file for integrating the RXP GTN 750 into the cockpit for the Carenado B58 floating around. Apparently there's a mod for the default B58 and the 750 but not the Carenado. I've looked all over the internet without much luck. I only ask because I really don't think I'm skilled enough to add it on my own. If I have to, I'll give it a try but is there any reason why no one has? Does it not fit or is there another reason?

Thanks.

I think the problem is no place to install the GTN750 in the VC because of the two GNS 430's each have their own bezels/frames which splits the 750 in the middle if installed? That is hard coded. Can only use 750 in popup mode?

Cheers

Martin

What about the smaller 650?

Two 650s will fit.

Hi Bert, I believe this solution is for FltSim not X-Plane though!

I believe, as Martin stated. It would require a modification of the VC 3d model. That is no easy task for a layman.

Im getting rid of all my planes and just keeping "study" level planes. There must be someone out there that can make this happen! Is there any instructions on where to start? I have made assets for other games (Cities Skylines) so I know blender and XML, etc.

@Adrian123 this looks like a  'FltSim' oriented developer forum, and I believe the question is about modeling for X-Plane instead?

My apologise, Guess I'm with Bert on confusion. we are all using 2 or 3 different sims these days... 🙂 Xplane is easier.

Kimchi - I'm really glad to see you take this on....I've looked for a mod as well with no luck.  Being a recent convert to XP11 after many years of FSX I wouldn't know where to start with modifying the model.

If you need any help with testing please let me know!

Cheers

Brent
