Lost 747-8 Sounds on change of window focus

Hello

Can anyone advise please?

When I switch focus away from the P3D window, the 747-8 sounds mute (engines etc).

I have P3D set to NOT mute on focus switch and all the ambient airport sounds continue to play just fine.

Is there a PMDG 'Mute On Focus Change' setting that I've missed somewhere.

Yep.

CDU MENU > PMDG SETUP > SOUND

More detail in the Intro Manual that came with the 744 (748 updates in appendix, though the sound settings are the same).

Any idea why my FMC is not displaying <FMC at LSK 1L under Menu. It has dissappeared! I only have LSK2 <DLNK

It has FAIL in amber down the left hand side i notice

You're probably looking at the center CDU, and not the left or right...

Then something has failed. Check the failures.

I'd strongly recommend looking through the Intro Manual. It has a ton of information that could help you work through things you're seeing.
