Or maybe no one on this forum has a 2080 Ti yet?  I haven't received mine yet, still waiting for my pre-order to ship out.  If Rob or someone else doesn't get their card first and post some kind of P3D performance results here, I will attempt to do so.  I do have 6 kids though, including 3 (triplets) under a year so I can't make any promises 😁

Then for now stay with your current GTX 275 .. 🙄

Google translate might help

I recommend deepl for all translations. It is vastly superior to google translate.

Not sure what your meaning is here.  I have ordered a 2080 Ti, just waiting on it to arrive.  Haven't used a GTX 275 since 2009.

Well, I just installed my new RTX 2080 ti, coming from a GTX 1080.

I am running P3dV4.3 on a 4K monitor.

I am not going to bother you with all my settings, just say they are rather rather medium.

PMDG 777 at EKCH:

GTX 1080 : around 24 fps

RTX 2080 : around 24 fps

Yup, thats right, can't see much difference here...

You must be CPU bound... What % is the 2080 running at?

Not terribly surprising.  Are you limiting FPS or do you just have an extremely demanding test scenario?  If you're limiting FPS - that's not a proper test.

I know my result does not compare with a benchmark, just to give you all a before/after comparison. Settings + resolution were the same for both cards

FPS unlimited

Flytampa EKCH, which I guess is a little demanding...

Interesting that you do indeed find results to be identical with the FPS set to unlimited.  Can you tell us how FPS compares when in-flight, away from all the high-detail ground objects at EKCH, and the ground/air traffic that go along with it?  Perhaps you wouldn't mind testing a scenario with severe weather and AA applied?  Also, what resolution do you run?  Earlier when you said your "settings are rather medium", are you referencing the position of the majority of simulator/graphical settings or were you referring to the results being lackluster with the new graphics card?

Thanks for sharing your results so far.

Resolution is 3840 x 2160

Yes i’m reffering to the “position of the majority of simulator/graphical settings”.

i’m going to bed now, so no more testing today 😔🛫

Ah, that helps make more sense of your results.  I'm afraid that without changing said sliders to near maximum, there isn't much work for your GPU to do.  You could use the GPU utilization feature of a program such as GPU-Z to see just how much your GPU is being used during sim sessions, and verify this for yourself.  I'll bet it rarely peaks above 50% with medium sliders, even at 4k.
