Quick question: Did KEWR ground show up for you using the ND? I have Drzweicki Designs KEWR and the gates and taxiways don't show.

 

As for the picture, I like the trees and the clouds...The thing that really grabbed me was the tail stand. Don't remember ever seeing one of those!

If you haven’t done it yet, you need to go to the SYSTEM menu of the EFB, then press the MAINT button. It is here where you can initiate a scan to build a database of all your non-default add-on airports for the moving map function on the ND. There are two SCAN buttons on this menu. No need to scan the default airports with the upper button - just use the second scan option for add-on airports. Once done, you should not have to scan again unless you add a new add-on airport. See page 23 of the EFB manual.

Even though the airport moving map is not an EFB function as such, the EFB is where you do the initial setup of the airport map database.

Also: keep in mind that some scenery devs use different methods in their scenery. Some have "blank" BGLs that only really have the taxiway (zero-width) and gate data on top of a bitmap or other kind of imagery. This might show up oddly. Depends on the group/method/etc.
