Taxi/rwy lights off on approach and dime light causing ctd

Recommended Posts

As in topic. On latest B748 when approaching taxi/rwy lights doesn't work. They on after runway touch. Also few times when pressing DIME lights I have kernelbase.dll CTD. Trying few times with many conf. Always CTD. Have AS16 latest, REX skyforce, IVAO. Disabling/enabling doesn't help. CTD only on night.
Attached screen without lights.
BTW thx for great product!

Also, taxi lights do not work until on the ground.  Neither do I know what DIME lights are.

I’d bet a dime that he meant Dome light.

That makes sense,  a problem when switching on the dome lights, which is basically switching textures, related to kernelbase would have me first checking my video driver and running DDU in safe mode before doing an update.

Check the landing / taxi lights at different airports. If the airport you were at was not specifically built for v4, there can be issues.

For the dll error, I'd double check drivers, etc.

Taxi/rwy lights doesn't work on approach. On air. In all airports. On ground all works fine.

Do you have a tomato shade or anything like that installed? I know that can cause issues and cause the lights to only turn on once it gets dark enough.

Customer/Third Party shaders are quickly becoming the bane for developers of high end aircraft and those who fly them.  I've found the best thing to do is run default shaders, gets rid of a host of problems.
