Need help : graphics cards staying at low load at approach

Hi all,

Since several months I see a framerate loss at low altitudes/approach after a 2+h flight.  

The 2 1080Ti cards are at low load at cruising altitude and when descending they stay at low load which causes very low fps. I have tried with SLI and as separate cards but no difference. I have tried the 6 latest drivers ( cleaned every time with DDU ) and with Passmark tests it showed no graphics card issues. 

When saving the flight and then rebooting the pc and P3D the framerat is back up again.

Max temps is below 66 degrees and the cpu below 60 degrees at full load.Power supply is 1000 Watt. 

 

Here after 3h of flying. Rebooting P3D does not make a difference.

 

Here after rebooting the pc and starting the saved flight ( 10x more fps ! )

 

Help is very appriociated.

Have you tried the same test with FPS capped at 29.

FPS are Uimited + Vsync + monitors at 25 Hrtz.

Just had a 1h chat with Nvidia Support and also had to sent then system info.All settings were correct. And all drivers too.

They have asked me to try with just 1 card to see If that might make a difference.

As benchmark tests show nothing they think that P3D with multiple cards for multiple outside views might cause this..

Therefore I was asked to test with 1 card. And the same flight later with the other card.

I run with 2x 1080Ti, but driving a single 55" 4K display.  Have never seen anything like this--frames stay pretty much locked at 30 fps.  So perhaps it is the multiple displays?

Just finished the complete flight with 1 card and no framerate drop at all ....

Next flight I will try the other card.

Perhaps P3Dv4 does not like my config :

- card 1 : 2 views in NVSurround

- card 2 : 1 seperate view

I know you run unlimited but have tried running the same test with FPS capped at 29 in the settings and not by NVI.
