I think my Corsair water cooler just died?

I turned on the computer today and noticed the case fans were going full tilt on what is otherwise a very quiet computer.  I checked CPU temps and they were way high (not under load).  Took the case cover off but could not really tell anything, the tubes are well insulated.  Bios shows CPU fan rpm is zero, water flow is zero....not sure if this even measures correctly with this type of water cooler.  Anyway I sent in a support ticket to Corsair, looks like I need to RMA but wondering is there a tool from Corsair that shows the water cooler status/health.  I had a pump failure two computer ago and swore then I would not go back to water ever again, well here I am thinking issues are resolved and after 9 months back at the same place.

Feel your pain. Same thing happened to me a few months ago, but with an Intel Water Cooler. Strange faint noise at the pump. (It lasted around 2 years)
I switched to a Corsair H75 water cooler.

Many assume leaks are now rare, maybe they are maybe they aren't.

 Pump failure, leaks, no point in my opinion. Noctua cools great, not required for me. 

Just to the right of me right now sits the components from my daughters Mini ITX. I'm selling the bits for her, which includes an H100i V2. Not sure how much I'll get for a barely used H100i V2.

And after reading Mark's tale of woe, if I needed further convincing to go with your Noctua, a make which, on my current rig, is an older D-14 still running silently 4 years later, I need not go any further.

Noctua is the cooler on my older computer.....let me check, yup still running great 5 years later.

If you have a recent cooler, you need Corsair Link which will give you all the info you need - individual cooler fan speeds, pump speed and temperatures:

Mark, probably stating the obvious here but the same thing happened to me a couple of weeks ago. The problem was that the radiator was choked with dust, I cleaned it out and the temps were back to normal. I was surprised how much difference the dust made.

Not good for only 9 months old. I understand pumps in AIO's often fail at 3 years, but 9 months is crazy. I guess they do run at high RPM. If I went water, I think I'd go all the way and build a custom loop. I'm thinking a full sized D5 pump would have a decent lifespan

That seems like a bit of a sweeping statement. Where Is your data coming from and what sort of snapshot size? If your statement is true then those AIO manufacturers who give a 5-year warranty would appear to be shooting themselves in the foot. It doesn't make economic sense for a company to give a warranty period significantly longer than the expected life of the product.

A cheap one but a good one I can recommend is the Gelid Siberian Pro. It did a short-term job for me. Around £13, here.
