[FSX] DC BAT BUS MAIN: No error message?! No landing gear!!

Recommended Posts

Hi folks,

referring to my earlier thread ...

... I have to add that to my surprise on final approach to MMMX neither the landing gear nor the alternate gear did work.

On top only the fowlers worked via alternate extension, but not the trailing edge flaps.

(BTW I learned that the 747 QOTSII accepts no gear landings without FSX detecting too early the aircraft's crash which usually stops the simulation. )

I am still confused about the lack of information about the bad shape of my bird...

Had I known all that, I would have chosen a different airport for an emergency landing in foam, with long runway available, in denser air than at MMMX at 7316 ft elevation...

Hi folks,

cough, cough, I was that busy last week that I saw only after my post that the -8 is out! LOL.

I was wondering about the numerous posts...

Meanwhile I installed the 744 update, and included was a fix on alternate gear. So, maybe the alternate gear should have been lowered at MMMX.

I tried alternate gear and found that opening the latch for ALTN GEAR EXTEND NOSE/BODY immediate 'pushes' also the ALTN button below.
