DF Baron58 RXP Wow!! just bought it

Man I bought this baby last night; and took it up for a little spinWOW!!!! what a plane and a really nice hand flyer...haven't had time to really discover all of the features yet, but man this is nice.Working on reading the manual during lunch today: Think I'm going to use this plane for my around the world farewell fs9 tour. (actually I won't be leaving fs9, I'll fly both fs9 and fsx)Anyway thanks DreamFleet and RXP for a nice nifty product.

As a proud Beta Tester for this machine...THANKS! A LOT of work went into this release including contributions from numerous twin drivers (like me) as well as current Baron pilots.You will find that its flight characteristics are very realistic...within the context of FS limitations.Have Fun!Jim

I had to reinstall everything for fs9 when I built my new PC recently. The DF Baron is one of the few that I bothered to reinstall. It is about the only plane I fly for my GA flights, with the exception of the Carenado 182 now and again. I have to get my occasional Cessna fix in...

I think you guys(DreamFleet) deserve it! I've had my eye on this plane for a long time. As you can see from my sig, I fly and like a variety of GA planes. I'm pretty picky on who makes it into my full time flying stable; and the Baron 58 by DF takes the top flying spot for my pesonal flying exploration flights...I mean wow I can navigate all over the world without even setting up a flightplan. I tend to use the Sandel at ranges of 200 miles or more to see the airport codes that are along the heading that I'm exploring and then use them to build a impromptu flightplan in the GNS530.Couple this plane with TrackIR4 and WOWzaa!! what an experience flying day or night. If you guys happen to do a Mooney Bravo; I'm first in line to buy it fs9 or fsx. :-)I'm also a Big Iron guy too; but work being what it is nowadays I just want to jump into my Baron plane; fire up the engines and point the nose and explore.

Even with a little cross wind the plane responded to my inputs smoothly without some of the jumpy jitter that other default/planes have within the sims limitation.Now I FEEL like I'm flying the plane and not fighting the sim/controls/stutters etc. The immersion factor for me is right up there with Aeroworx B200 and others.

Funny, I love the Baron, but find myself going back to their Bonanza, which is so close to my brother's Debonair it's scary. This is rather subtle.. but the A36 is more nimble in it's handling.More important to me, the single engine instruments take up less space in the cockpit, so you can see the GNS430, even in the forward view, and the view is not impeded by the heated windshield, as in the Baron.They are both first class, but I enjoy taking the Bonanza up for a quick ride more than the Baron which seems to to demand a bit more pilot attention.
