question: 4 engines and only 2 throttles

I'm struggling with this problem. My Saitek has only 2 throttles. I fly mainly the B747-8 and the a319. I was hoping that PMDG would offer the option to reduce the throttle control to 1 or 2, but I didn't find that option.

I tried controlling via FSUIPC and it works for the b747-8 but not for the airbus. 

How are you solving this problem?

I too have two separate axis for my throttle but I only assigned one of them to the throttle axis without any number this way I can control all engines.

Using a registered version of FSUIPC you can assign lever 1 to throttles 1 and 2, and lever 2 to throttles 3 and 4.

Thanks for the advice. So, changing from a 4 engine to a 2 engine aircraft means changing the throttle setup each time.

No, FSUIPC is a very powerful and flexible utility that supports separate aircraft-specific configurations for different aircraft, and automatic detection/selection of the same.

FSUIPC has the ability to be aircraft specific.  I have a different set up for each aircraft, i.e. B744, B737, B777.

I am so greatful for all the hardware that FSUIPC can handle. Many more than my skills. This has proven to be the weakness 😏

Sometimes when my USB ports gets upset because W10 properly forgets something that was attached to a specific USB port it can be a nightmare or at least an hour of recon.

FSUIPC is the way in the above matter for sure
