Possible panel mods question

Have the F1 GTN750 installed where the default GPS was.  Would like to place a GNS530 directly underneath where the comms radios and DME are positioned.  The VC panel bmp shows blank spots for placing gauges here, however, commenting out the radios gauges in the panel.cfg only disables these gauges. They still are there. Is it correct that you can't get rid of these because these are 3D gauges embedded in the interior model?

You may want to "PM" Bert Pieke with your question as he is pretty knowledgeable about these things. I believe the answer to your question is yes--but I could be wrong.
