Recommended Posts

Hi,In a week or 7 I will visit the US, in Memphis (yeah Graceland.. of course, wife is a big ELVIS fan), New Orleans, and Orlando.Does anyone have a suggestion, to visit something special? Like an airmuseum or something? We go definitly as first stop to the grave of the King, and I must say the one and only KING!. His planes are there on display, I know, and will sure check them out. Exepct photo's then.Something more I need to see? (besides of Disney and Seaworld of course)Johan[A HREF=http://jdserver.no-ip.com]Personal Server[/A]or..http://62.238.33.10A LITTLE LESS CONVERSATION, AND A LITTLE MORE ACTION PLEASE!

If possible, see if you can get in on a tour of the main FedEx hub there. It's an amazing operation. If nothing else, go over to the airport (which isn't very far from Graceland, btw) at "push" time in the early evening. It's quite a thing to see for aviation fans. The B-17 "Memphis Belle" used to have its own stand out at Mud Island (downtown on the Mississippi river) but I hear it's sadly been moved from there. Maybe that's bad information, though. You should check it out and see if it's still available for viewing.Don't forget to tank up on some fantastic Memphis barbeque pork ribs if you're into that sort of thing, too! :-beerchug I hope you enjoy the trip!
