I'm willing to hazard a guess that V4.4 will be released on November 6th at 2pm EST but it won't bet better than X-plane 11.30 😜

It's Sunday. Someone must be bored so they thought they'd stir the pot a bit. This thread will be locked in 3...2....1.

I predict that by Nov 6, I still will not have reinstalled XP 11 on my system. 😁

I guess those die-hard P3D users just don't have a sense of humor when it comes to X-Plane.

Speculative execution is an optimization technique where a computer system performs some task that may not be needed.

Work is done before it is known whether it is actually needed, so as to prevent a delay that would have to be incurred by doing the work after it is known that it is needed.

If it turns out the work was not needed after all, most changes made by the work are reverted and the results are ignored.

Source, Wikipedia.

In accordance with the thread title, I bet speculative calculations will be improved by many processors in the future and LM engineers will take advantage of it.

And that gentleman's, is all I am going to talk about, actual computing topics 😉.

Regards,

S.
