Thanks, Roger.

We have enjoyed flying in PNG in several different ways. And it will be a great pleasure to come back again to this wonderful environment. Here is a previous "Pilot's Guide" that includes materials on many of the airports that we shall visit (and more). I believe that it has been widely unread. If you wish to add to the numbers, you can make a special effort to ignore the document that is available here.

Great reading Mike and interesting videos. A couple of weeks ago I saw a documentary about a Swiss Pilot/Missionary working in exactly that area. Quite an experience for the man and his family!

hi mike,

Thanks for the " pilot guide ", a riveting read & excellent videos.  this weeks flight is the relatively easy part compared to next weeks Kokoda trail flight. ( just to give food for thought )

cheers.

For anyone else flying today with a F1 GTN, the flight plan in GFP format can be downloaded here.

Nice shots Roman, thanks for sharing!

Roman,

Great pictures...and isn't that scenery spectacular!? What a bunch of nice looking aircraft, and the "Tiger" looks pretty good, I'll have to fly that one next week.

Thank Roger for a fun flight plan.

Mike,

I was concerned that maybe you didn't wear your welders goggles on Saturday, and were possibly still experiencing temporary blindness from that paint.
