APU bleed air switch

Recommended Posts

Hi guys, I know I'm going to get yelled at for not reading the manual but I'm trying to keep it simple I've gotten everything else worked out but I can't find the Apu bleed air switch on the overhead. Assistance would be appreciated thank you

If you have not done the tutorial flight I'd suggest that's a really great way to go. PMDG (Ryan) put a ton of time and effort into doing it and it will answer most of your questions in a logical and very understandable way. But you'll find the switch you're looking for above the strobe and wing light switches bottom right of the overhead.

Over on the right side of the overhead, there are three pack switches. Trace the middle one down toward the light switches. Labeled APU just above it.

I would add that on the 777, 747-400 and 747-8 it is normal to leave the APU and engine bleed air switches “on” at all times. The bleed air system will open and close the APU and engine bleed air valves automatically at the appropriate times.
