Screen Capture of Alternate views. Is it possible?

Recommended Posts

I am new to P3D (v.4).  I looked in the forums for this topic and I did not find it, I'm guessing that I didn't have the correct search criteria entered, but here is my question.

When I take a screen Capture, "V", it only seems to capture the main viewing screen.  If I have alternate views defined, I can not seemed to find nor figure out what I can do to capture those images.  Is it possible with P3D?  If not, are there alternate solutions to my issue?

I am currently running two monitors, and I have a View Group Defined (within View Group Management) that spans the "main view" across both of my monitors.  I love that!  But when I take a screen capture only the content of monitor 1 is captured.  I would love to get the contents of both monitors in my screen shots.  Or if I create a new view, is it possible to screen capture those images?  I know about screen stretching and that does work, but  the images are highly distorted for my tastes.  Any help is greatly appreciated.  Thanks in advance.

What I do is make the desired window active by clicking in it. Then  press Alt-Print Screen. It captures only the active window. I think that would work for the spanned view if you are in windowed mode but you could try these steps in fullscreen mode too.
