Throttle Lever # 3

Hi,

I have a problem with throttle lever engine # 3 on the B747-800. While all levers are in idle, # 3 lever moves to about 50% and stays there. I can NOT get it back to idle.

I am using a Saitek X52 Pro HOTAS in P3Dv4. I am NOT using FSUIPC for throttle axis control.

Willing to bet that you'll have this same problem in any plane with more than two engines.

Check your axis assignments for an errant 3rd engine axis. If it sets itself right to 50%, look for one of the rotary knobs on the throttles to be it - they have a center detent that you're probably leaving it in.

Exactly as you stated, there was an erroneous "ENGINE 3 Axis", which I deleted and the throttles are rock solid.
