Canadian Airports

Recommended Posts

Outside of FlyTampa Toronto and Montreal, and FSDT Vancouver, are there any other payware / payware quality Canadian airports released for 4.3?

simaddons but expect an FSX quality. Their pricing schema is also extremely bad.

FSIMSTUDIOS got a pretty good scenery for Calgary.

Lots more to choose from with Simaddons, they have a sale on right now too.     I've got most of their sceneries, I'm not unhappy with the product.

I had Simaddon airports for years. They are reasonable complexity but not flytampa level. That said they are well done, cover the airports great, low impact on fps and when on FSX I never had a OOM from them. Now on p3dv4 they are great. I’m a pleased customer.

I'm using Simaddons as well.  They aren't bad and cover most of the major CDN airports and some smaller ones.  They are behind in the texture quality compared to other high end scenery devs (FT, FSDT, FB, ORBX, etc..) but they definitely get the job done for the price.

Agreed - their bundle-only model is asinine. I can just imagine the increase in revenue they'd get if they offered individual airports.

Agreed as well. I did not buy any of their packages, but I would be interested by some of their airports if I could buy them individually.

Simaddons used to sell their sceneries individually, so I don't think Ralph was unaware of the marketing implications when he made the change to bundles.

You might send Simaddons an e-mail...in the past I have seen him make sales of individual sceneries, at least to already-established customers.  He's a low-volume boutique developer, really, so maybe it can't hurt to ask for a boutique deal on a couple sceneries you're interested in.
