I don't think you had a CTD. 

 Are we not talking here about PSXT stops/exits... or stayes minimized in the taskbar?

No.  FSX seems to crash whenever I am using PSXT.  


 Windows 10 Home 64-bit (10.0, Build 17763) (17763.rs5_release.180914-1434)  Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7700K CPU @ 4.20GHz (8 CPUs), ~4.2GHz
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080

Is it crashing also with the update 14.4 onwards? For me it has fixed the problem

Use version 12.6 and post a log file.
