November 13, 20187 yr I took a chance on this. I think this author is pretty darned good. I didn't like the auto-install including the avatar and vehicle, but that is his prerogative and I can't really fault him for that. I also picked up the EDRN scenery also. I really, really like his work. Loved his color pallet, this is first time I've noticed chimney smoke actually indicating wind direction, (maybe I have missed that in other sceneries). I found that Orbyx offers the Jena City also. I have enough of Orbyx for now and that is one reason I opted to try this version of Jena. Bottom line - I'm glad I gave it a go. November 13, 20187 yr Wow, what a surprise. I have been to Jena. I walked right by the Zeiss Planetarium there. I wonder if it has the Pulverturm, and the old City Wall remnant? November 13, 20187 yr Well, first load at Jena (EDBJ) I had just looked around, didn't take off. This time I cranked up my ride and ran into a few caveats. The runway was blocked near both ends by massive trees and buildings. Only option to take off was set autogen trees to off and building autogen to sparse. I thought maybe I could try moving things around in the scenery library, but one of the entrys for Jena was un-selectable, so had to stick with scenery sliders to be able to take off and land. (guess I could play with the "crash" variables). Other than that I'm liking the Jena City scenery. I had no problems at all at EDRN. Sometimes I just sit back in amazement that our fs platforms model the entire world yet we can still get immersive all the way down to the ground level.... even indoors!
