Generic Repaint Request Thread - Take a Number.

Recommended Posts

Hi Folks,

Thought it might be a good idea to start a generic paint request thread - where painters might find some inspiration... Anyone's welcome to post their Falcon requests here - please include image...

Post'm if you got'm...

One I am considering - but not claiming - if someone else cares to start it:

Hi

Already posted but it is a good idea to have all requests in the same place

there is one in the original repaints which is very close to this one so may be if an expert in repaint could do it 😜

Cheers

Pascal

Hi Pascal,

Your post gave me the idea - I would have added to yours but I didn't want to step on your toes...

Great idea and will gladly take a number.

Here's my choice, and the photo of an F50 with winglets... not a coincidence and just a kwink kwink for Flysimware - future development suggestion if I may 😄. Winglets look amazing on this bird

Keep in mind to not use DXTBMP to convert your final work. This program can only go as high as 2048 in pixels. And the kit is 4096 which allowed us to fit everything on 1 texture so future paints will breeze. I hate working with multiple textures and trying to align everything.

I included some instructions and tips on what programs to use.

Bravo for doing this. I flippin hate the many overly-complex paint kits some developers see fit to bang out.

Hi Mark,

It's a low poly royalty free model on CGtrader... $30.00 - hmm - seems like a good start for an AI model of the Falcon...

Hi Mark,

Sounds good - I'll take a gander when I pick it up - I use the Nvidia Plugin - so I go right from my work in PSP - direct to -  DDS - without passing go or collecting $200.00... It makes life soooo much easier...

I've created a paint, consider it to be my personal jet but if anyone wants it I can make it available! 😄
