France VFR and Orbx in P3Dv4

As far as I know it needs to be next to each Scenery / Texture combo, but you might test with it being in ORBX folder.

Glad several people have commented on this topic, but have to say I remain confused. Looks like there is no simple tool that allows you to run Orbx and France VFR sceneries concurrently without corrupting autogen. I guess I will just stick with Orbx sceneries and forego France VFR for the time being.

Arno’s Tool is an install and forget tool, so how simple do you want it to be ?

According to FranceVFR it is fully compatible with Orbx ( see their forum ).

As far as I see it Is like Orbx Vector for France + custom France landclass textures. One step further than FTX Global shows for France.

Plus Mesh + Obstacles & Reperes ( POI objects like churches, powerplants, bridges , tv towers etc )

As the landclass files will call the FranceVFR landclass textures they will appear for France if placed above Orbx landclass / vector..

I think Greg gave all the answers, but in my opinion before buying make sure you won't have a slide show with FranceVFR sceneries.

I see on the promotional photo +ORBX GroundTexturesSet (https://ibb.co/pyvYmBR), I assume that this is a ORBX combination package.

In addition to photo details, no. The question remains compatibility autogen

I thought somebody already has mixing experience.)

So, six months later and several additional posts, some claiming the products work together, and others insisting that autogen compatibility remains an unresolved issue???

If you look at the date of the posts, the comments (including yours) date to before the release of P3D v4.4, which brought in the ability to have more than one set of autogen library objects.
