USB devices not working

Recommended Posts

I noticed in the last week or so that my USB Yoke and Throttle quad are not working and a restart is often required to get them to work again.  Could this be the result of an unstable overclock that needs a little more voltage?  My computer has been running just fine for a month with 8700K overclocked to 4.8 so nothing excessive.

Mark,

If you are running Win10 and have had a recent update, it will reset the "Power Management/Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" tab for the USB controllers in "Device Manager". Just had it happen to me recently and thought that there was a problem with my yoke. Go through all of the USB devices in Device Manager and be sure to uncheck this option.

Hope this helps.
