EDRM-Repaints on the PC12

Recommended Posts

I love your paints, Marius, especially on the A2A Bonanza.

I think I've downloaded every single one of your N# (U.S.) registered planes. Thanks for all the work!

🙂

If you're painting it, and it has an N# on it, I will definitely, as usual, download it! 🙂

Some simple liveries for the Pilatus pilots here.

Hi Marius,

As a painter - I know you have to be inspired by a paint to spend the time and effort doing it - here's one I'd like to see but I know Carenado doesn't make it easy... It's a commercial outfit based out of TJSJ Puerto Rico that visits several resort destinations including St. Barts... Just food for thought - seems similar in color to your last post...

The PC12 really has an amazing variety of great liveries out there in real life. That one is no exception.
Truly makes me want to jump at the throat of whoever is responsible for Carenado's texture layout. 😄

(There's at least one N# coming, just don't know which yet. Maybe, just maybe, I can force myself into giving the above a shot)

Hi Marius,

Please don’t feel obligated - as I know what an excercise in frustration painting Carenado can be... I’m convince they have some automated process that chops the model up and places them in the most efficient manner possible on the texture sheet... Their in-house painters can’t be doing it the way we do ? Yeah - I know the countless pixel by pixel moves required to get everything lined up - that’s why this one sat in my inbox for so long... I’ve only painted the PC-12 once and it was a complete trace job of one they included in the package...

This is the one I did:

Ahh, Carenado, the developer where you scout the default liveries for the most basic shapes they share with what you're intending.
If the results weren't so good looking I wouldn't touch their planes a single time again.
Back with the Shorts, which I really wanted to do some liveries for, I almost bit into the table after drawing an experimental straight line on the biggest part of the fuselage just to see it come out as mindbendingly rippled curve.
I'm honestly suprised that after all these flops (in terms of external livery availability) and the countless complains of painters worldwide, they still don't have the spine to even release a statement on the topic.

As a GA painter I can't avoid them, but they make me appreciate A2A way beyond what I thought would be possible for someone who basically just paints and never flies the planes.
(Now thank God this isn't an official forum 😄)

It's a hard life Marius, but someone has to do it.

Hi Ron,

LOL - I remember you grumbling for ages about how bad it was to paint a Carenado bird - then one day started cranking out your little jewels like hot cakes... You must have the patience of a saint - mighty fine work as well...

Scott

I was about to say! Saw your Avsim uploads while checking what's available already.

EDIT: Forgot to add the two simple schemes of today 😄

Marius,

Do you think you would be willing to simply slap an N# registration on your D-FCAP paint? I always wanted that one with an N#.

Just if you have time and would like to do that, no pressure. I'm still checking your site regularly to see what's new.

Thanks,

Scott

Hi Scott,
there is too many requests made, which is why I don't take fictional ones anymore.
That being said, if you find a real life N# on that livery, I will gladly do so.

I only do requests if A: It's a real a/c.B: I believe their story(You'd be amazed at how many requests for 'I took my PPL in this one') 😄 I like the scheme. My pet hate is 'I love your paint of NXXXX, will you 'just' do it with N5Up3R pIL0T.

/rant over

Oops! I just noticed rightseat's post.
