ATC Closes. Is it only me??

Looks like the left single quote (~ key) is getting parsed.  You can try changing the key for the ATC window.

I found that when the ATC window is open it has the focus and will process all keystrokes.

This is the expected behaviour.  If you have more than one exit to control, you need for the number key to not be captured by the ATC Window.

I don't use P3D, but FSX closes its ATC window when you open your default aircraft's door.  I'm pretty sure P3D never got around to addressing that behavior.
