Falcon 50 performance data

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

Just purchased the Falcon 50 beta and I'm very impressed. A question I have is where can I find performance data, like flaps/reference speeds for takeoff and landing? Is it something we can use or we'll have to wait for the released version?

Also a PFPX profile would be also nice to have at some point.

Hi,

In your FLYSIM Falcon 50 directiry, you have the Falcon50_Check.htm and Falcon50_REF.htm which gives ecactly what we need.

for the flaps speed limits you hae also a placard just under the RMI on the main panel.

I have produced a PFPX profile, although I have only tested it once. It had good results.

I'm having issues with the profile shared here. No matter how long and how light I'm it always says that I'm above my takeoff weight. Is there another profile? Or can someone tell me how to solve the issue? Thanks!

Hi, that profile was done using an early Beta version of the Falcon.

You can edit the profile within PFPX to allow for the proper OEW, MZFW, etc.

Looks like the numbers are acurate on this profile. Just checked with the numbers on FSW manual..
