B777 Checklist issues

I wonder is there is another way to navigate and tick the items in the Checklist, I tried more than one mouse and still difficult to bring the Cross to the time and click, the mouse cursor disappears as soon as I enter in the detached Lower DU. Any ideas?

That‘s normal that your mouse arrow disappears. But you should see a magenta dot or star or so.. I can‘t say off my head how it looks like but there should be a Boeing cursor. Isn‘t it there?

Have you updated your 777 to the latest version? I might be wrong but I think I recall there have been some performance issues with the ECL in earlier versions that have been resolved. What simulator do you use?
