November 21, 20187 yr Hi, these are impressions of a journey from Tbilisi (Georgia) to Abakan (Russia, Siberia) in several legs via Termez (Usbekistan) and Kashgar (Uighur, China) with the venerable Tu-134. Preparing the plane in Tbilisi (wonder for whom the red carpet is?) Taxiing Who cares about pollution? - It's virtual... Climbing south of the Caucasus range Landing at UTST Termez... ... and departing again The Pamir Mountains Lake Sarez in Gorno-Badakhshan, Tajikistan Descending for Kashgar, Mt. Kongur in the background Kashgar En route again, after lots of clouds the sight got free not earlier than near the destination, over the Sayano-Shushenskoye reservoir Finally Abakan. All scenery is freeware except Kashgar (payware by Billi Guo). Tu-134 freeware by SCS. Regards, Harald Harald Geyer Gründer der Messerschmitt Freunde Dresden v. V.

November 22, 20187 yr Author Antarctica? There should be spring... I'm interested in your Video from this flight, as always; how did you manage the problem with incorrect elevations/sliding elevation layers in these geographic heights? Harald Geyer Gründer der Messerschmitt Freunde Dresden v. V.

Here is my video flight Harald. Troll Airfield to Cape Town. It was interesting that it was still fairly light at midnight at Troll.I had to make Troll Airfield myself but I had no problems like you suggested. The only problem I had was some terrible frame rates on short finals into FACT. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZKRpuddZ07o My FS Videos

I'd have thought FS9 ran out of headroom (bottomroom?) that far south! And as ever, Harald, great to see you going where No-one Else Dares with your Crusty (this is a pun, look it up) Soviet-era aircraft!

Thanks WingZ! As always, my aim is to fly where no NATO reporting plane could follow me to report anything (I thought of Chita, but have been there already; so what about Ulan-Ude, Tynda or Magdagachi...).
