I will have to get a plug in hard drive for such excursions.  As it is now my Ortho has wasted my computer, and that is just the west...  Good shots!

awesome shots! how long does it take you to load up XP11 with all of that?

I suggest adding up South Africa in that using ARC it's  beautiful , i have used up like 1TB for SA only the west to the east coast., probably might not do the kalahari desert because it's a flat area.

About a minute? I don't believe it loads all the photo-scenery when starting up.

Thanks! Will definitely take a look. As global flyer, hopefully I will have the whole world as Ortho one day.

The only region that I have tried and could not get good results until now was Scandinavia.

I suggest using Z17 because Z18 is the same quality.  If you want to enhance it then get the DEM from AW3d. 

I suppose this would be for XP ?

I use Z16, because I only fly in VR and usually above FL080.

It is indeed for XP! 🙂

Then you can use the default DEM that it downloads. I would suggest start with Cape Town.
