I installed 4.4 right over the 4.3 directory (not the client, but the entire thing). And all my addons still worked after. Granted, FSLabs needs to be updated and AS16, but AS16 is already providing a working beta.

Good to know, thanks. I’m surprised none of the sceneries have issues due to PBR. I would expect lighting issues and the like.

Yes but some addons might require you to update content as well.

I am just flying in 4.4 with the 777. Everything good - but I have no WX radar

Updated AS16 to the beta and everything else to the newest version. Any ideas?

Are you in an area of precipitation. Also have you setup the wx on nd.

I upgraded from v4.3 to v4.4 Client only and PMDG 737-800NGX pop-up PFD or any other Eicas taking 2 to 3 seconds to show up. With v4.3 it pop-up right away. Then upgraded Content and Scenery to v4.4 PMDG still pop-up late. I had to revert from v4.4 back to v.4.3 and now PMDG is normal. I think after PMDG new updates arrive then we can move to P3Dv4.4

Yes and yes.

I restarted the sim and it works, but no idea why.

I have upgraded and had weather shown on the ND loads of times all I can say is check your on live weather

I got v4.4 but got an issue with looping sounds especially when changing views. LM just heard of it and apparently its a known issue. Grounded while I wait for a fix, considering reverting to 4.3 as I still have the installers.

Yes the looping sounds while changing views struck my sim also.

If the v4.4 has sounds problems then we have to stay in v4.3 and waiting for v4.5

Maybe the v4.4 have more issues not known yet. I went back to v4.3

time_constant=0

Should fix your sound issues.
