Just a nice picture of my cleaned system

Recommended Posts

Did some cleaning and cable management of the Sim computer, came out so nice I figured it deserved a photo 😄

FVUsOUM.jpg

Specs wise it's an i7-8086k @5.1ghz cooled by a Kraken X62, an RTX 2080 FE, and 16GB 3200mhz RAM. Runs P3D at 4k like an absolute dream!

Thinking about getting an AIO for the GPU, anyone have any experience with them? I saw Alphacool make a full cover block/radiator/pump combo for the RTX cards.

Sweet...  I've noticed many people don't have optical drives anymore... I still use them.  Without them you definitely have more real estate

Hah yeah, most cases don't even have 5 1/4" bays anymore!

Yep... I gave up mine two rigs ago. On the rare occasion I need an optical drive I grab my external blue ray player off the shelf.

It's so clean, you could eat your dinner off it. 😁

Which reminds me, both my PC and my sons need cleaning.

If you saw my cable management it would shock you. Literally hours spent on it. 🙂 I hate messy cables.

You can resolve that by avoiding bare wires!

Excellent point! Alternatively, I will insulate them immediately.
