[P3D v4.4] RAAS not working?

Recommended Posts

Hello all,

Just doing a complete re-install of Prepar3D v4.4 and I notice the RAAS module is not recognized. Does it need an update or is it something on my end? I have checked the DLL.xml syntax and it seems to be OK.

Thanks,

Erik

Update: after adding other tools the RAAS module loads. I think it was something with the DLL in the end? However, issue solved!

Had the same issue in my sim too.

Problem is, that it looks like the installer is writing the wrong entry in the (ProgramData) DLL.XML

@byork

With this entry, it is working

  <Launch.Addon>
    <Name>RAASPRO</Name>
    <Disabled>False</Disabled>
    <Path>RAASPRO\RAASPRO.dll</Path>
    <DllStartName>module_init</DllStartName>
    <DllStopName>module_deinit</DllStopName>
  </Launch.Addon>

With this one (inserted by the installer) its not working:

  <Launch.Addon>
    <Name>RAASPRO</Name>
    <Disabled>False</Disabled>
    <Path>.\RAASPRO\RAASPRO.dll</Path>
    <DllStartName>module_init</DllStartName>
    <DllStopName>module_deinit</DllStopName>
  </Launch.Addon>

    <Path>.\RAASPRO\RAASPRO.dll</Path>

Christmas Greetings 🙂

But that entry works for me and 99.9 percent of our users.

What's different about your setup?

Good question, my Sim is on "D" Drive, not on C nothing more O.o

After installing P3D 4.4, my RAAS is not working in the PMDG- 747, or, 777.. and -8.    Am I missing an update?

Any help would be appreciated.

If RAAS doesn't show up in addons, 99 percent of the time it's because your DLL xml is corrupted.

Check for a missing tag around the PMDG HUD entry if you have it.  That's usually the culrpit.

If you're not familiar with the DLL.xml structure, paste the contents of your DLL.xml here.

Cheers,
