That is a lot of stuff going there..

What are you AI traffic settings? if this is too high you will suffer from some FPS drops.

Also are you using SSAAx2 or something like that?

Post your display, world and lightning settings, helps to identify your problem.

If your HT is off you don't need an AM setting, if its on i would try AM=4052

Before you start messing about the P3D.cfg (which is generally unnecessary), ensure you disable FXAA in the P3D settings as it's a BIG framerate killer. As others have said lots of AI traffic could kill your frames, see if lower it makes much difference.

Feel free to copy my settings, I have a lower spec system than you so these should work fine: baZD49.jpg

But don't expect to get mega framerates, 20 fps is usable and 30 fps is smooth. P3D is a very demanding piece of software which is built to anticipate the hardware of tomorrow.

A 3.2 GHz i7-8700 (non-K) CPU is a hard limitation...that's about 36% slower than an overclocked K variant running at 5 GHz.  Not much you can do to improve on that short of replacing the mobo/CPU.

20fps in a complex add-on at a complex airport is reasonable for a CPU running in the low 3 GHz range.  Management of frame rate and/or smoothness is going to be through pulling sliders on CPU-intensive settings back (e.g. AI traffic, autogen, etc) to trade eye candy for some performance.

Bob is exactly right on the limitations of the 8700 (non-K), and the results you're seeing are typical at Miami with that speed cpu.

I might add that if you're running LatinVFR Miami, I've found it is not the best add-on airport for fps.

Another issue at Miami, default or add-on airport, could be the two Special Effects sliders.  Turning those sliders all the way down seems to help for me.  I fly out of KMIA probably more than any other airport in the sim and that is what I've found.  I'm overclocked to 5.0 ghz with a 1080ti and I still have a slowdown with heavy weather into KMIA.  Perhaps a 2080 would help me in that regard.

Finally, as was said, turn your Autogen buildings down a lot (I'd suggest no higher than normal), and vegetation a little (normal or one tick above, as you see fit).  And for Ultimate Traffic Live I'd suggest no higher than 60% on airliners, 30% GA, but you can of course play around with those settings.

It is hard to guess as Joe says, you did not post up your resolution, settings, etc.

You will have to be careful with your settings with a processor running at that speed. Even though P3D does let the Graphics card do more work. High clock speed it still king when it comes to performance.

I would say that your performance is about what you would expect running at 3.2Ghz
