Exception in gf_connectToSim

Real Traffic 5.0.24 does not receive data. 

I am running Windows 10 pro 64.

P3d4.4, PSXT 12.11, AILGenerator 3.2, FLAi Ops.

When I follow the Quickstart, the RT ui opens but no traffic is seen on the Traffic Display.

Then I start the sim and then PSXT64.  PSXT64 opens the ui with the error message "Exception in gf_connectToSim" for a few seconds then shuts down.

Thanks for any help in this matter.

That is normal, RT will start producing data after it has got the position of the user aircraft from PSXT. Hence PSXT has to be connected to P3Dv4 first.

The exception in gf_connectToSim is of course not normal. What is the vehicle you have loaded in P3D?

Is this your first try or has it worked before?

Same on this side...(same error message). loaded PMDG B77F at EDDF at the moment. This error now occurs since version 12.10 (installed 12.11 to see if this would resolve the issue, but it didnt')

Did you try the 32 bit version too?

Same for me,

When I load the 64bit version I receive "The exception in gf_connectToSim" error.

Launching the 32bit version seems to load ok.

Are you sure you have completely installed P3Dv4.4? The 64 bit version is for P3Dv4.4 only ...

Don't think that will help. It looks like you have a wrong SimConnect setup. Note that for the 64 bit version and running at one PC, you should not do anything with simconnect files...

I see, but you are a minority, most users do not report problems...so that's why I suspect a setup problem at your end.

After reading through all other posts, I see that I am not alone in that PSXT64 12.11 is not working with RT 3.2 whilst using P3D4.4.  So, I did as some suggested and tried PSXT32 12.11.  This allowed RT to feed data to PSXT at least until it 81nd out. I never saw any aircraft populate KALT in P3D4.4.  I haven't tried reinstalling P3D4.4 but, It seems works fine in all other respects.  Thanks for everyone's input.

Error 81 means that your AI aircraft in P3D are not correctly installed, see the Manual, error 81 or the FAQ....

Did you install the FLAi package?

That's wrong! The 64 bit version is for P3D v4.4 only! See my website, "and a 64 bit version for Prepar3D v4.4"

And see the Manual at page 6: PSXseeconTraffic64.exe is the 64bit application to be used with Prepar3D v4.4+ only.
