Also...side note...anyone want to come up with a new name for it? Every time I see PBR, I think of cheap beer...

Also...side note...anyone want to come up with a new name for it

Well how about calling it just P.R as short for Physical rendering?

Regards.

Nah, doing your pre-flight walkaround to gaze at your models awesome set of TITs has a certain ring to it.

For your consideration, I offer

T I T (Tangible Impeccable Texturing).

PMDG is leading the simulation industry  in their T I T development. With a little bit of patience, the whole community will soon get to enjoy a nice set of

T I T Sampling.  No more “fake” renderings.  With real T I T Sampling, you won’t believe how real it feels the next time you fire up your tube liner!

PS  I apologize. I’m an word not allowed. I think I had too much PBR (beer)

TIT always makes me think of the UK comedy Only Fools And Horses.   Company name was Trotter's Independent Trading - but then in later series, when one of the brother's got his diploma in computing, he was titled (by the other) as Rodney Trotter DIC...

LOL.. I find that funny xD

short anecdote that fits to this.. I live in southern Germany and we got pretty good beer here (IMHO :D). However in Facebook I found a motorcycle group, mainly driven by Austrians and in Germany we like to mock them (in a friendly way) about their beer and wine. In summer I did a 2000km bike tour across Austria and in Styria (federal state of Austria) I got to try a beer that I even liked more than what we have here.. Unfortunately I haven't found it in Germany yet and they don't really ship it. So now once in a while I need to tell my dad to bring me some beer when he's visiting his friend there xD Beer connecting people(s) 😄

I remember back in the 90's in Ireland there was no European beer. Bought a case of Warsteiner from Germany on the plane home. (probably can't do that now since 9/11).

Some people don’t get it...usually the same crowd who only think of themselves as important.  Denis Leary has a song about those kind of people...

I start being a bit fed up with stupid and unnecessary replies like this...
