Back country flying in BC Canada

Recommended Posts

I have an Orbyx Scenery setup in P3Dv 4.3

I notice when flying  around Kamloops CYKA and Cache Creek AZ5 area that all the airstrips are OK except for Salmon Arm CZAM and Vernon CYVK

These two show scenery anomalies like asphalt runway changing to grass halfway down the strip during take off, runway is proud of surrounding scenery etc

Why is this?

Running FTX Global Configurator doesn’t help -offending runways not present

The two runways are OK in my FSX setup

Puzzling!

I frequently fly in and out of those two strips and have no problems.

Had no problems in P3Dv 4.3 and now no problems in P3Dv 4.4.

I have all Orbx addons plus FS Global mesh with runway textures from REX Worldwide Airports HD.

Make sure your Orbx products are all up to date including the Orbx libraries.

Any other scenery packages installed for that area?

If there are, disabling them one at time in the scenery library might help isolate the conflicting addon.
