Free Learjet 45 Complete HD Rework for Prepar3D v4

Recommended Posts

Finally i finished my second work, and i would like to share it with the community.
It is a complete high definition rework of the default Learjet 45, ported to (and only compatible with) Prepar3D v4.
This thread is intendended to be a feedback and support thread.
Some feature:

  • 4K virtual cockpit high definition textures
  • TrueGlass© rain drops effects from TFDi Design© (i got the license from them)
  • Added new cockpit sound effects
  • Impressive lighting effects and smooth day/night transitions
  • New and fixed flight instruments and VC integrated FMC
  • Hundreds of visual and programming fixes and improvements...

Note: it is not designed for dynamic lights. Please switch the option off from P3D settings.

Update:
Fixed and improved materials
Added a dynamic lighting compatible version
Added a simple black livery (to exalt the new surface)

Link is the same, at first post.

Just overwrite your current installation, don't forget the "Effects" folder as well.
This time you should clear shaders before start P3D (follow install instructions in README).

Previous saved flights scenarios with the Learjet will not work. Open the scenario provided and start a new one.

Hi Alberto,

That looks like a superb effort... The exterior model of the Lear looked pretty good - the VC was sorely lacking - it looks like you've improved it a great deal... Thanks !!!

Regards,
Scott

Thank you Scott!

Actually the exterior model is almost the same as the default from FS9, but if you talk about the night light effects, well yes it is completely reworked.

Instead the VC was the real big deal... 4K textures and instrumentation fixes and addons took me the most of the development time.

I'm glad you enjoy it!
Happy landings!

Hi Alberto,

Just found your work here. I am running P3Dv4.4 so I downloaded from your link. Do you have a website, or a forum?

Thanks

Howard

Hi Howard,
website is down 'couse my provider really sucks.
The support forum for the Learjet is this one.
Feel free to ask anything, but keep in mind that it is only 4.3 compatible.
I do not still own 4.4, so i cannot update.
Please tell me if there is any issue with 4.4
