Black screen P3D (sounds and aircraft OK)

Hello all, 

Today I ventured into updating P3D to version 4.4. After updating activesky and all, I also dowloaded PTA and loaded Matt's preset that came along with version 2.63. When I then load the sim, the rotating plane model is not appearing and when I load a scenario the screen remains black but the audio is playing in the background. I wait for a long time but the screen remains black. When I exit P3D reinstall the default P3D shaders, I don't experience this problem. Is there a fix for this? 

Another question: When I use default shaders in P3D are the remaining presets of Matt's set still working except for the shaders or doesn't the preset work at all? I am quite the n00b when it comes to this so really would like to know.

You might try another preset ...

That appears to tackle the issue. Got your set of 12 months around the year and I activated one of them and it worked.
