Pete Dowson announces he will retire on reaching age 75

I wish Pete all the best in his retirement. May he have plenty of things to do.

Pete's been a stalwart in this community.  He'll be missed but I'm glad FSUIPC will continue.  Couldn't operate without it.

I wish @Pete Dowson an excellent retirement, and I hope Pete, you are not retiring from enjoying fight simulation - VR is gonna get whole lot cooler next year!!!

Wishing Pete a happy retirement and glad to hear that John will continue to update and improve FSUIPC.


My computer: ABS Gladiator Gaming PC featuring an Intel 10700F CPU, EVGA CLC-240 AIO cooler (dead fans replaced with Noctua fans), Asus Tuf Gaming B460M Plus motherboard, 16GB DDR4-3000 RAM, 1 TB NVMe SSD, EVGA RTX3070 FTW3 video card, dead EVGA 750 watt power supply replaced with Antec 900 watt PSU.

Assuming you meant Nobel Prize and not Price, I agree. He’s done a ton for the community.

Thank you Pete. Your FSUIPC fulfills the same function in the sim as a clutch in a manual shift car. You CAN drive/sim without it but it sure as heck is clunky....
