Need some info

Recommended Posts

At this time I have no need for the ATC part of this program, I might later on but not now. Can Pilot2ATC  be used as only a flight planner and moving map without using the ATC part?

Thanks for any replies.

Ralph

I don't believe you need ATC.  You may load your plan if you want to follow the track but just don't file.  I believe just pressing validate with result in p2a tracking your plane along your intended route.

If you don't even load a plan, just connect and p2a will put your plane on the map.  there is also a tab on the right FPL that will close the flight plan window giving you even more room for map.

I found a simple little plugin for X plane early on that uses your browser to put your plane on google map. Here is a link for external map version 2 https://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?/files/file/25569-external-moving-map/&sort=newest&tab=reviews#review-71131

There are so many options.  Navigraph has a map that will track my progress little navmap is another.  FFA320 even has a moving map in the cockpit.  Take your pick

Happy holidays.
