I assume you checked PBR options in the Maddog Load Manager?  I made a quick video here of external PBR + DR with time preview

Cheers, Rob.

Yes I did.  the livery I was using was not metal so hard to see it on the regular fuselage.

KPDX, I would add ORBX Orlando to the list. It will include KMCO.

I used to live in Atlanta and wanted KATL for a while now but the current choices just didn't make me want to spend money on them. I have Flytampa's KBOS and if they do ATLto the same level I'll be right on it. I placed a 2nd vote for KORD, but that's mainly out of curiosity for PBR.

Yes, I am most looking forward to KORD. It is true that airport is under constant design and re-design, but I think I read that we will get the airport as it was in April 2018, which is far, far better than what we have now. I fly a lot in North America and a lot with United and Air Canada so it will be nice to have a major hub more up to date. I am also looking forward to seeing what PBR can do and it seems this may be the airport to first demonstrate this.

I also agree with what was said about looking for airports that more fully take advantage of what V4 has to offer. There is not much point in investing money into new versions of Prepar3d if I am just going to have addons essentially developed for version 2 or 3. I have a good collection of airports and am pretty careful now in what I choose to buy.

About 12 years ago, scenery designer Vauchez treated us to a spectacular version of KPDX for FS9. Since then I've yearned for someone--anyone--to come up with a version of Portland that even minimally came close to that one. That's why I'm so looking forward to Bill's KPDX, the release of which now seems imminent, considering it now has its own entry in the Flightbeam forums.

I loved FlightScenery Portland! When I had FS9 I flew in and out of PDX (and the other 3 airports in the area) all the time. Since I moved to P3D about a year ago I miss that scenery. I am looking forward to Flightbeam's Portland scenery.

Yes, but not sure if I'm allowed to share that info.  PBR or no PBR will most definitely impact my purchase decisions for "new" airports going forward ... in fact, PBR anything (vehicles, buildings, aircraft) will have a big influence on my purchase decision for 2019.

Cheers, Rob.

Rob,

Have to agree with you...I've only experience with the MaddogX and the stock F-16, but I'm VERY impressed by what I see with PBR - I think it's game-changing realism.

Yes it’s going to have KMCO and Orlando exec so should be good, sadly no KSMF but shouldn’t be greedy I guess!

I never knew orbx where doing Orlando that's made my day. Thanks

It might just be me but I’m very underwhelmed with the stock F-16 regarding the overall improvement since it’s been rendered with PBR?

Whoops , I’m always doing that ,I actually meant KSFB ! Orlando Stamford.

KSMF being my real world alternate for KSFO and KSFB the alternate for KMCO. The number of times I’ve pulled the weather off the ACARS and wondered why Orlando and Stamford being very close to each other can have temperatures 20C apart and completely different weather, then I realise what I’ve done.

I voted KORD for all the reasons that Cognita said.  But KPDX is right behind that.  I’ve been waiting for that airport ever since I discovered Flightbeam.  I also want an updated KLAX, as that’s the airport that I consider “home”, even though I haven’t lived in LA for over 15 years now.  I know it’s already available, but I’ve been holding off, waiting for an updated version.

I have a list of most wanted airport sceneries, but unfortunately nobody seems to want to build them :huh:
