Are LNM .RTE files compatible with QualityWings aircraft?

I cannot get a LittleNavMap .RTE file to show in the FMC of my P3D4 QualityWings Bae 146 - it is in the QW FlightPlan folder along with my other .RTE files prepared within the FMC or SimBrief flight plans, which all show.

Are the LNM .RTE files only for PMDG aircraft?

Yes. QW RTE are completely different. I can add the format to the next minor release which will add a few new export formats.

That's very nice to hear, bought the QualityWings 787 and was surprised that i have no available option for exporting a flight plan for it's FMS.
