Interview of Adam Breed from Prepar3D

Recommended Posts

A very informative interview of Adam Breed, Program Manager of Prepar3D:

Quote

Breed is engineering program manager for Lockheed Martin’s Prepar3D simulation software, which means he’s sort of an aviation training expert-meets-video game developer.

Yep - VR is the future!!!! The fidelity will go much higher in 2019 as the new headsets are coming (wireless) with better resolution - 2K and newer video cards.

Thanks for the share, even though it came out much earlier but first time reading this article.

I honestly hadn't noticed the date, but since I'd never seen or read it before I thought it worth sharing...

...especially since real world sites such as Avionics International probably aren't on too many simmer's reading list!

It is all good - yep never knew about avionics international till I read this super informative article.  Thank you for introducing me to the article and to "Avionics International" - I am sure it will come in handy once I get my PPL (and then a GA plane)

Sounds reasonable. It's what the corporate customers wants, I suppose...

Maybe... but to be frank, it's not on this 'private customers' top 3 list... 🙂

I hope LM will develope new ATC and traffic engine. Because actual ATC/traffic simulation is heritage of FS9... We need more real, more difficult, more advanced ATC control.
