I'm having a couple of minor issues with the new update...

1) Unable to turn off seat belt and no smoking signs.

2) Autopilot mode lights (NAV, HDG, ALTSEL, etc.) do not illuminate in the VC, but in the 2D window, they illuminate when selected and active.

This all seemed to work properly in V1.

Enjoying this aircraft immensely!

Rich

Flying a trip from KELM to KSTL right now, in Rev 1.2, with ASP4 and all is working just fine. (Other than the 120 knot headwind)😫

No problems with the WX radar, though there is no precipitation to show any returns - but a solid low cloud deck. Flew a couple of ILS approaches earlier, and no spurious “glide slope” warnings.

Seems like the updated installer (anything beyond 1.0!) is not avaiable through simmarket. Could you check with them? Hopefully of course just a timezone difference issue and they'll have it soon, but just to be sure 🙂

If you read the first post on this thread i said "Before we send to all stores". I will only send updates to all major stores once i know they are stable. And only 1 per month. So if i have 3 updates then the store will get the 3rd update that month. Dec is almost over and i will be sending eaither V1.2A or V1.3 in the next few days.

Whoopsie, I only saw the update notice in your shop and that it told to redownload from your vendors account.

Sometimes reading before posting surely wouldn't be a bad idea 😅

There is no red light warning that the window is open. That was the initial plan, but Jim Barrett pointed out that is not the case in the real a/c (thanks Jim!), so that idea (along with the 7000ft window opening limit) was not implemented. It was listed as a version update by mistake. If the window is open on the ground, the pilot will certainly know it without a small red light warning (makes sense -- if my car window is open, I certainly know it before going very fast!). Now, the pilot's window should not open if the cabin pressure differential is above 1psi, which is more realistic. I don't know the actual size of the window, but if it was just 1ft square (or equivalent), at 1psi the force keeping the window from opening would be 144lbs.

I will leave it to others to comment on the panel TCAS since I don't use it (I use the TCAS info provided by the GTN750).

Thanks for the reply Al. 😊

For the pilot window this make sense and try to open it when flying without any success 😃.

Regarding the Tcas, this is the first time it illuminate and sound as I do not use IA traffic. I only fly online on IVAO network and there was nobody around 40NM at the time it start to illuminate until I was on final passing 1000ft....

Regarding the TCAS-- is it suppose to be illuminated all the time? I hear no sound but it remains illuminated. I am using the current updated version of this aircraft in P3D v. 3.4xx. On the previous version, the TCAS also stayed illuminated.

Thank,

Raymie

I am not sure what you mean by "illuminated", but if you are talking about the yellow TCAS indication in the upper left corner of the display, when that is on,  the TCAS is off. The TCAS controls are located on the center console.
