Sudden P3D shutdown

Recommended Posts

First I wish everyone Merry Christmas and some nice free days 🙂

I wanted to enjoy these days with some flying in P3D v4.3. But I had some sudden crashes without a warning or a message. That is my main problem that I can not get the problem behind. Today I selected my flight with Majestic Dash 8 at Toronto City (CanadaSim Scenery), Active Sky weather. Nothing else used.
But after loading the sim simply crashes/quits. No message or something else. I had that also inflight with QW 787. Suddenly during inflight the sim quits.

I'm using normal sceneries and also AS+Cloud Art, ReShade by crosire, Envtex+Envshade and that should be all as far as I can remember

Check your event viewer for the CDT information.

We can then try to work out what it could be, have you added anything new to the sim lately? Software or hardware?

If you o/c memory that would be the first culprit.

Ryzen 5 5600X - Noctua U12A, 32Gb Vengence, Sapphire Pulse 5700xt, WD Black SN750 NVMe SSD

Without seeing the actual error from the windows log as well as his system specs, we are only guessing.

I already looked into Windows event viewer but there was nothing. I looked only minutes after the crash into the event viewer.

My system should be good enough for normal flights as I didn't change the settings or the hardware.
Windows 7
Intel i5 4670K 4,20Ghz
GTX 980 TI
MSI Z87-G45
4x 4GB of DDR3 RAM

I also did not update any BIOS or video driver during the last years as that all runs good so far. This thing is really annoying as I don't know why. If it was memory I would may buy new one. If it's something else I could try to solve it. But its frustrating.

I had this happen using WxRadar until REX and Milviz updated to 4.4. Possibly you have some gauge that has not been updated. Will it load just using the piper cub?
