2.63 problem

Recommended Posts

In upgrading from 2.62 to 2.63 it looks like I've stuffed up somewhere along the way.

Grateful if someone could help me resolve this issue.

Hi Rod (met any good drones lately?)!!!!

Have you tried reinstalling the P3D client? That should replace your ShadersHLSL folder with the default. I usually keep a backup of that folder after every new install or update so I don't need to re-apply the client to get back to where I was before I stuffed up.

Check back here soon, as I have a new PTA preset (263_01) about to be released.

Adam.

Hi Adam,

Fingers crossed drones are a thing of the past but I'm still pretty wary of them!

Followed your suggestion and re-applied the Client and getting a different message now:

Preset D:\MarkA PTA (1).ini loaded

Prepar3D 4.4.16 build 27077 detected as target verson
Shaders cache directory found at C:\Users\Rod Vaughan\AppData\Local\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4\Shaders\
Prepar3D main configuration file found at C:\Users\Rod Vaughan\AppData\Roaming\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4\Prepar3D.cfg
ERROR: can't make backup of D:\Program Files\LockheedMartin\Prepar3Dv4\ShadersHLSL\PostProcess\HDR.hlsl at D:\SHADERS_BACKUP\PostProcess\HDR.hlsl
ERROR: can't make backup of D:\Program Files\LockheedMartin\Prepar3Dv4\ShadersHLSL\PostProcess\FXAAResolve.hlsl at D:\SHADERS_BACKUP\PostProcess\FXAAResolve.hlsl

Look forward to your new preset!

Rod

Maybe another client reinstall then an uninstall/reinstall of PTA as well?

Here's the new preset:

Happy New Year, Rod!

Adam.

Thanks so much Adam and a Happy New Year to you as well!

A flight in JNG awaits if you so desire.

Have installed your new tweak and it's stunning - well done that man!

Best,

Rod
