Considering move to Prepar3d from FSX:SE

Hi Prepar3d users

I am considering move to Prepar3d after more than 10 years of using FSX and FSX:SE platforms, I consider this move becase, I want to try newer and better simulation with more immersion.

 

But the hatch is, that I use gaming laptop Asus ROG Strix Scar II with following specs:

Intel Core i7-8750H 6-Core / 2.2 - 4.1 GHz,

NVIDIA GeForce GTX1070 (8G GDDR5),

16GB DDR4(16GB*1),

256GB PCIE G3X2 M.2 SSD + 1TB 5400RPM 2.5’ Hybrid HDD (FireCuda 8GB Flash),

15.6" 144Hz 1920 x 1080 (Full HD), no ODD,

AC Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, 3x Type A USB 3.1 Gen1 ,1x Type C USB 3.1, 1x HDMI,

RGB backlit keys,

Windows 10 Home 64-bit

 

Will this laptop be enough to fullfill needs of prepar3d and my ORBX Base, Vector, PMDG´s,  Carenado, Captain Sim aircrafts, AS16, ASCA, Aerosoft, Flytampa and so on?

I primarily fly in Greenland and therefor greenland sceneries would be nice to have, maybe flying with Dash 8-200 and Airbus aircrafts.

With those specs, you’ll be able to play P3D, as those specs are the same as mine, just mine is a PC and yours is a laptop.

However, I used to own a laptop with a i7-7700 and a GTX 1080 and I ran it pretty well and I’m sure your laptop will run fine as well.
