PTA and reflections.

Recommended Posts

Hello, so I am working on making my own livery for the PMDG 737. One issue I have is that when I load the plane into P3D the paint looks too shiny and reflective. I use PTA and not sure if there is a way to get the plane to appear less shiny. I'm not sure if this is a PTA problem but I know using re-shaders can sometimes make objects look overly reflective so sorry if this wrong place to ask.

Here is what it looks like https://imgur.com/a/ADZJh5X

Thanks

I'm not sure it's a PTA problem as such. You may need to take a look at all the alpha channels of your textures (diffuse, spec and bumpmap). Compare them with other liveries that seem to work OK.
